When the worst happens

On the 12th of September I started serving my one month notice of termination of employment. I must admit I was shocked, I figured I had it under control and not having met my numerical targets was not reason enough for my employer not to take me on permanently.
But sadly it happened and since then I have been lost, trying to figure out what my next move should be. Maybe "lost" is a strong word as my plan is to apply for jobs, do maiden support work, apply for a place to study next year, so that I keep busy if I don't get a job, launch a business on the side.
I do not want wait for a job to fall on my lap, wait for an interview, wait for an offer. I want to be pro-active and do something else that I can control, where I am not just sitting waiting for someone to offer me a job. That should be a business right? But what, that's where lost come in. There's risk associated with a township business I want to launch.
I remember preaching to my cousins and friends that sitting and doing nothing is not an option, now I have to practise that.
I have started on a direct selling distributor programme
I will give it a 100% go and report back.

Hey, when you go you go! But I love how you spring back, as though you've been around all the while, no excuses.
I'm sorry to hear about your job. I've heard that 'The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you'. Hang in there and do your best with what you have on hand while awaiting further opportunities. All the best. (Go tla siama).
